Out at the Movies 2006 The North Country's 4th Annual LGBT Film Festival Out at the Movies 2003 was the first lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) film festival to be held in the North Country of New York State. Out at the Movies is back for a fourth year with a diverse collection of documentary, dramatic and comedic films that explore aspects of and issues in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. The event is organized by a consortium of local LGBT groups and is supported by many local organizations and private individuals. The purpose of the festival is threefold: To offer the North Country an accessible cultural event of the highest caliber To offer members of the North Country's mainstream culture an opportunity to learn about the issues and values of LGBT culture To provide an event that meets the needs of the North Country's LGBT community for access to LGBT culture
